How Much Does The Book
Cost?
The real question might be: How much is it worth
to finally have tools and wording to write the perfect
Selection Criteria, to have peace of mind and to know that
your application is the best that it can be?
I suppose you could do what most people do -- just
"Write the Selection Criteria myself, I'm the one with the
qualifications and experience, I'm the only one that could
possibly write about this", and use the "trial and error"
method. That was what I used to do... Until I woke up and
realised I had to get organised, learn about Selection
Criteria and be in a position to write excellent responses.

P.S. Back
in the day it was easy
to apply for a government job. All you had to
do was attach a resume with a cover letter which vaguely
covered the selection criteria. However nowadays government
jobs have become far more desirable and many more people are
applying. With the increased competition comes a far more
complex selection process. In order to compete you must
have the best application possible, your selection criteria
needs to stand out from the rest.
P.S.S. I've been a public servant for a long
time now and over time have developed a large range of
examples and wording to use to address selection criteria, I
would like to share what I have learnt with you. You don't
need to just address the selection criteria you need to
prove to the selection panel that you are the best out of
hundreds of applicants and that's just to get an
interview.
P.S.S.S. Writing selection criteria used to be
easy, just follow the PAR, CAR or STAR methods for each. But
this no longer works, it doesn't even come close, you can't
address all of the selection criteria with just one or two
examples. Is using other peoples selection criteria wording
allowed? The ebook has been put together to show you how
excellent selection criteria are worded. You can use your
qualifications and examples combined with our wording to
make an excellent selection criteria response. You can use
our examples to highlight skills you already have and
perhaps reveal some didn't even know you had. You will be
able to convey your message to the selection panel using the
correct and well structured wording.
